there are many reason for that.
1. furnace or any duct of flue gas leakage.
2.deposition on super heater which clog the passage of flue gas
3.density of fuel below required density of boiler fuel

it is due to the air preheater being clogged increasing the
load of the ID fans due to the bad suction and this clogging
is mostly due to the baskets being melted due to the
formation of the ACIDS from the exhaust gases and the dew
point effect .

this is the only logical reason for why the ID fan is 100%
loaded while the boiler is not .

If the moisture content in fuel is more than designed fuel, id fans has to run at full rpm to sent out the additional water vapor produced from the additional moisture. In fact total flue gas quantity was increased

Provided Id inlet damper is fully opened main reasons are
1 more gases are being handled . Happens when due to infiltration of external air into ducting thru leakages
Fluegas path are clogged at some place, such as at APH, superheater, economiser

DCS marshaling Cabinet Power supply can be replace during plant running time? Answer Yes it is possible. I am talking about the controller and cards power supply modules. They are always redundant and connected through diode so that if one power supply fails the other can take the charge immediately.so it is possible to replace one of them in running plant if the other one is healthy. MY question is how switching done.
