CONVERTION=10/3.28=3.05m
THICK=10/1000=0.01m
PLASTERING AREA IN VOLUME =3.05*3.05*.010
=0.093 cum
WET VOLUME OF MORTAR=1.27
TOTAL VOLUME=1.27*.093
=0.118cum
UNIT WEIGHT OF CEMENT=1440kg/cum
CEMENT IN BAGS=(0.118cum/5)*1440KG/cum
=33.98kg/50kg
=0.67 bags SAY 1bagS
SAND REQUIRED=(0.118/5)*5
=0.118cum*35.28=4.16 CFT

as per the thumb rule,
quantity of cement required= 0.645 bag= 32.25 kg.= 0.77 cft.
quantity of sand required = 0.77 x 5 = 3.84 cft.

volume of plastering =0.9290304*0.010
=9.290304*10-3
total volume of cement =1440/5 *(9.290304*10-3)
=2.67m3

as per thump rule 1:5 mix;
cement - 288 kg.
sand - 3.05*3.05*.01 = 0.093 = 1-0.093 = 0.901 say 1cum
i am not sure the sand calculation any mistake please inform
