GRN is nothing but Goods Received Note.

At the time of delivery from the supplier to the person who
orders the goods, the person will check the quantity and in
terms of quality.

* Order items can be assigned and arranged

The purchase order items are arranged to correspond with how
they are listed on the vendor’s delivery note, making
further processing easier.

GRN is also a unique aviation industry reference meaning
'Group Release Number'.
It is a batch tracking system for any aviation part, from
the beginning of the parts life to the end. The GRN is the
parts airworthiness approval and comes with manufacturers
cerftificates. This is why aircraft parts are so expensive
as every piece has a mountain of paperwork (more importantly
approvals) behind it.

GRN is a goods recieve note/ goods return note.
goods recieve is proof of delivered goods and goods return
is proof of returned goods by the costumer. Driver who is
delivering the goods and the recieving clerk they must sign
the GRN.

I have posted asset with 1,00,000/- value. After posted I want to segregate the same asset with 2 dep.terms i.e.25000/- with SLM and 75000/- with Decli.value. how do u customize this settings in asset accounting?

Hi Friends, I have one query, would be grateful if any can tell me the setting for the same. We have given an advance to vendor and deduct the tds on that. Thereafter when the bill comes in then ideally we should deduct the tds on remaining amount (Invoice amount – advance paid) because we have already deduct the tds on advance payment to vendor. I want to know the setting for that. Kindly explain in details. Regards

Re: i am getting error that"there is no item category assigned to account no(any account no)company while save the entries in gernal ledger, i able to simulate the entries but not to saved, i am using 6.0ecc version. so some one gave answer that"you activated document splitting for that u have to assign the item category for that g/l other wise u can deactivate in document splitting as per co code level".so please any one tell me the path or method to how to deactivate document splitting as per co code level so some one gave these path "hey u can get the path in general ledger accounting >>document splitting>>>here u can get the path for deactivate document splitting per co code level" but i unable to get the path, please any one tell me total path of document splitting deactivating per company code level.
