Delivery plant is determined by following methods.

First the system checks the customer master info
record,if we did not maintain the delivery plant, then it
checks the customer master,here also if it did not
maintain,then it checks the material master,here also if it
did not maintain.

Then the user can manually enter the delvering plant.

The plant is determining in sales order that
First- It will read CMIR (only when if you check read info
record in VOV8)
Second- It will read CMR
Third- It will read MMR

Delivery Plant is determined in the following order:
1. Customer-Material Infor records
2. Ship to Party Customer Master
3. Material Master

Hi,

The above answer may be right for the determination of
delivery plant on sales order , but if we say for the
determination of delivery plant on sap systems then we have
to follow this below:

The Assignment of Sales organisation & Distribution Channel
with plant makes a delivery plant on SAP systems.
Where as the assignment of plant to company code makes
manufacturing plant.

Please suggest me if it wrong.

Sales Order With Different Plant Instead of Default Plant

i am sorry with u that i am not able to get ur point,
let me more clear on this issue,

1/ it only happens when the order is changed by webclient
2/ There is no error message. We only notice that there are
2 plants on the order when we manually pick it up in the
depots.
3/ Reproduce the bug: Icreate an order for a customer to
get delivered by an other plant then his normal one. Isave
the order. After saving the order you open it again an add
a material. When you save the order, the system takes the
default plant for the added material. So you have 2 plants
on the order. In ERP you get a warning. In CRM the order is
saved without warning or error.

Hi, I have advance payment scenario where customer want advance payment cannot be used against another sales order and against any credit limit. Let me put one example. Customer X is having credit limit of 1000 USD, if my client is received customized product order then he will take advance for this special order but customer X is already enjoying credit limit of 1000 USD. In this scenario my client wants advance payment received cannot use against any sales order and against any credit limit. If I will post advance payment in F-29 then customer credit exposure will decrease against credit limit in FD32 which will affect normal sales order credit limit. Here customer does not want to utilize advance payment against credit limit of customer which is use for normal sales order. Please suggest
