As Chart of Accounts are defined at client level.we can as
assign one chart of accounts to several company codes

We can post one COA to Sveral COMPANY CODES and not to a
COMPANY.
There are 3 Types of COA
1. Operative Chart of Accounts (Daily Transactions)
2. Group chart of Accounts
3. Country Specific Chart of Accounts.

1 COA to 'n' Company Codes NOT COMPANY.

you can assign the one COA to multiple co codes but
when all the co codes are following same fiscal year and same chart of account
then we can assign to n num fo cocodes

one co area contain for the several comapany codes ,but one
company code assign for the one co area only,if you can
assign for the several co code one option is there, that
option cross company code,this is giveing them one co area
assign for the several co codes

No, We can assign one COA to one Company only.

But, we can assing one COA to many Company Codes.

There are three types of coa i.e.
Operative chart of account
contry specific coa
Group coa
One coa can be assign to different company
code.chart of account is created on a clent level.but
company can be assigned to one chart of account.
