When we run the cost estimate, it updates the standard cost
of that finished material. If you want to update the
standard cost of the material including new raw material,
obveously you need to delete and re-run the cost estimate.
Otherwise, when you create the production order, there in
that cost calculation, real cost will be captured including
new RM and used for that production order and hence costing
data will be available for reporting and other purposes.
But standard cost will be effected only in the next costing
run, which may be falling in next month.

Hi
The product cost run can be done only once in a month.
Hence, though you add one more material to bom the costing
run will not change.
Try to run it in the next month. it will be automatically
updated.

Your questoin is not clear.
But as per my understand if cost run is over that means
actual cost is calculated. so you can calculate std. cost
only for this month and you will have to wait for next cost
run.other wise you will have to reverse whole PC run and re-
run agian.

cost estimate is done in CK11N but usually this will be
updated once in a month. or we have to reverse the cost
estimate for the current month and run it again.
