then the lock can be manually deleted by t code SM12 if some other user wants to access the same entry; but before doing that it is necessary to check:-

i> by SM37 to check whether there is any background job is already running pertaining to that lock

ii> by SM50/ SM66 to check whether any work process er are already running for that particular user.

First u have to check the lock entry is created by dialog user or background user.

If it is created by dialog user with more than 24 hours then u have to delete the entry from sm21

Lets suppose we have 500 users in sap system 250 members are already logged into the system and rest of the 250 are unable to login along with master users like sap* etc. How do you troubleshoot this issue ?
