This involves synchronization process. Hence, For the two voltages to link, these parameters must be met:
(1)Frequency ( Hz ) : The frequency of the voltages produced by the generator must be equal  to grid voltages
frequency.
(2)Voltage ( Volt ) : The line voltages produced by the generator must be equal to the grid line voltages.
(3)Phase Sequence : The phase sequence of the voltages produced by the generator must be same at that of the grid.
(4)phase angle : The phase angle of voltages produced by the generator must be the same with that of grid voltages phase angle.                                             (5) The waveform of the voltages produced by the generator must be the same with that of grid voltage.

It is better to have generator voltage slightly higher ( not exceeding 3 %) than grid voltage ,while synchronizing , to avoid leading pf on synchronization

After satisfying x7 criteria......our required parameters (v,phase sequence,p angle,hz and etc )will achieve.......if any in this is not achieved we cannot approach with the grid........thank you

We have 132KV/11KV Grid connected power transformer for getting power from Grid. Can we use this transformer for sending generated power as well. I mean step up from 11KV to 132KV and transmit.
