1. Install the Customizing Project System (CPS) if not already installed.
2. Create a new customizing project and assign it to the required client.
3. Create a custom object type for your category in the Customizing Project.
4. Use the ABAP Workbench to create a program that retrieves deleted categories from the database by querying the relevant tables (such as OTAR, OTAB, OTLT).
5. Restore the deleted category data using the ABAP program and save it back into the relevant tables.
