hi,i think first u should check partial delivery in sales
document type.and after that u should check shipping
condition and sold to party should be same.and in delivery
first u should pick 15 items and do the pgi.and after that
again in delivery document u can pick another 5 items and do
the pgi.so in this way u can do the 2 deliveries.

Hi
To clarify the process further ......
1. Create the delivery, go for the picking & pick up 15 pcs
then EDIT button on the top menu bar and click on " Copy
picked qty as delivery qty" and then do the PGI, your first
delivery for 15 pcs is saved now.
2. Now create the second delivery, you will find that only 5
pcs remain for delivery, do the picking and PGI and save the
second delivery.
Now you have nicely made two deliveries pertaining to one order.
But remember
a)to allow partial delivery in "partial delivery allowed "
field for the customer in customer master shipping tab.
b)Material Master of the item should not have any "Quantity
Stipulations" in Sales Org.1 tab.

Hi !
If you want to make 2 deliveries of one sales order then
there are below options u can choose.
1:- if you need to make the delivery by sytem
automatically then you have to do some configuration so
that the shipping point should be change . so that it make
different deliveries.
2;- If the full material not avilable then system propose
two delivery date.
3:- If material is availale and you need to do it
manually . then better on creation delivery Vl01n screen
when you create delivery with reference to sales order
delete the line item which do n't want to deliver on first
delivery.
so that it ll pill on next delivery.
hence you can make two delivery.
Hope it ll help you .

above is not a best practice.
in Sale Order you can do avalibility check button near
pricing button.
only procure the items in sale order you want to deliver by
Complete delivery button when do avalibility check the
others procure with delivery proposal buttion during
availibity check
after quantity button you see a small check box. if it it
not checked then this item is fully captured with material
and deliverable.
if it is check it has not captured material or partially
captured material.
So you can set delivery of items by availability check
button on sales order

Once sale order is created, the processing of S.O means, checking for the materiaal availability using Availability check, shiiping point determination, price determintaion, Back Order processsing, credit check holds removal, but will avaailability check include planned receipts, if planned receipts like prodn order will be considered in Avilability check which is done as Sale order processing, then does it mean that MRP needs to be run for availability check, coz MRP run gives u the qty to be produced and when it needs to be produced.
