How to change SID?

SID is an acronym for System IDentifier.
The SID of a system can be changed but it is not a simple
process. The most reliable way is to perform a system copy
using the process approved by SAP. There are shortcut ways
of doing it but they are not as reliable and not condoned by
SAP.
