The Material master contains the field item category group
twice .A general item category group and an item category
group only because you need to specify it for inbound
deliveries by general item category which does not refer to
sales org and dist channel and other item category is used
to determine sales order item for eg outbound delivery.

The fields are mentioned in Material Master (MM03) salesorg2
view.

Materials grouping that helps the system to determine item
categories during sales document processing. If a group is
configured specific to distribution channel; it has
priority if the corresponding activity is distribution
channel-dependent. Example--> Service items or packing
items have no delivery so it will pick up from Gen Item
category Grp.Especially for Inbound delivery for MM

In SD Item Cat Group will be pick-up for outbound delivery.

when ever i create sales order the pricing condition is not coming automatically. The discount condition types like k004,k005,k007 are comes automatically,but pr00 is not coming automatically i entered manually. What could be the reason. Pls explaine me anybady. in material sub stution when we sell the sub stute material with main item price it will display the list of materials with main price or only one substute material is substuted automatically in first senario i practed it will display the list of materials but price taking it's oown price.in 2 case substute item is picking main item price but it is possible for only one substute item only.may question is it possible to display list of material case 2?thanking you in advance
