impact as no sale is taking place, unless it is a case of
Plants Abroad in which case the taxes (input and output
taxes) have postings in account. Otherwise, only the stock
position of various plants only within the company code
changes.
Yes, in case of inter-company sales, the delivering plant
belonging to a different sales org bills the selling sales
org (and the selling sales org bills the external customer).
Here the stock transfer has an impact in accounts (this is
is also a kind of stock transfer).

Stock transfers and transfer postings are used to represent
organizational-relevant transfers within the company (for
example, decentralized storage).

A stock transfer from plant to plant generally takes place
within a company code. It can, however, also take place
between two company codes, if the plants are assigned to
different valuation areas, which belong to different
company codes.

Unlike a stock transfer from storage location to storage
location, a stock transfer from plant to plant affects both
accounting and Materials Planning.
