when Jobs are in release status and still unable to run ..it
is due to mechanism in Background dispatcher . Some times
background dispatcher reserve bg work process for Class A
jobs till they are not finished and they will not be
allocated to other low priority jobs that's why it shows
time delays.

Answer / srikanth
There is some priority given to the background jobs. A,B,C.
usually there are some background WP's whch are allocated
to A and so they will not be allocated to the other
background jobs. It will wait till the other WP's are
completed their jobs. this could be the only reason for
delay

There are two things to check. One, do you have more
background jobs running than you have background processes
that can handle them? Two, if you have enough background
processes to handle the load, are they configured to only
run a certain Class of background job? Background processes
Classed for A will not run Class C jobs. You need to check
both.

Hi,
When ever a BackGround job is released and the status is
set to be in delay state then one should make out that
there are 2 instances V1 and V2 the scenario here is V1
stands for instance start without delay in time where
schedule time interval is not specified and if V2 then the
job if released will start only at the schedule time
interval Usually Background jobs run in the Night Time as
they are time consuming and in Day time Dialog Job runs.
