& Gateway are the types of work processes.
Types of Roles - SIngle & Composite.
Assigning ROle to User
Way 1 : - Goto SU01 -> Enter User ID -> Goto Roles Tab ->
enter the role name.
Way 2 : - Goto PFCG -> Enter Role Name -> Goto Users Tab ->
Enter User ID.

There are all together 7 types of work process and among
them 5 are work process and 2 are communication process and
types of Roles are Single Role,Composite Role,Derived Role
and Cloned Roles.

there are 7 types of workprocess
these are basically
dialog(By default 2)
update(By Default 0 or 1)
enque(By defaule 0 or 1)
spool(By Default 0 or 1)
background(By default1)
message(for Messaging service )
Gateway(for gateway service)
And we can change manually through t -code sm63 or rz 04
(Called setting Operation Mode)
we can assign the role by su01 t-code
for the further assignments and changing roles and
autorizations are done by T-code PFCG
