How to calculate KW what is the formula for KW...

Answer / p l narayana

KW is an electrical specification that which intends the
amount of energy required to do a job
The given example will give an idea to calculate KW
10KG object is to move one meter distance in one
section then required kw is =weight*g*d/(t*1000) KW in
mechanical terms
Now in electrical terms
KW=V*I*PF
= 3^0.5*V*I*PF
WHERE V=Phase voltage
I=Phase current
PF=Power factor

Is This Answer Correct ?    0 Yes 0 No

How to calculate KW what is the formula for KW...

Answer / arunkumar.s

Normally Voltage & Current Vil b Given,

Kw = V*i*Power Factor ( only Single Phase )

Kw = 1.73*V*I*Power factor ( only Three Phase )

Then, KVA vil b Given,

KW = KVA*Powerfactor ( Both single & Three Phase )
