How to calculate KW what is the formula for KW.
Answer Posted / p l narayana
KW is an electrical specification that which intends the
amount of energy required to do a job
The given example will give an idea to calculate KW
10KG object is to move one meter distance in one
section then required kw is =weight*g*d/(t*1000) KW in
mechanical terms
Now in electrical terms
KW=V*I*PF
= 3^0.5*V*I*PF
WHERE V=Phase voltage
I=Phase current
PF=Power factor
