Hi,
Account based co-pa is based on GL accounts, costing based
co-pa is based on Characteristics and value fields.

system stores all values in cost elements in a/c based pa,
and for co pa system will store in value fields.

so because of this reason, at the time of report generatin
system takes more time in a/c pa less time for co pa.

account based -PA is merly dels with accounts not with sale
point
but with co-pa delt with cost of sales accounting

Account Based PROF. is the summary of one particualer
account with include cost account also.

Cost Base Prof. is the summary of one particuler job cost
(Manufactaring Exp.)

in SAP, i want to know how we can split an incoming payment from a customer. if the payment is lets say 500rs.i want to allocate a 10% to my own company and distribute the 90% to the cash account(G/L) of a partner (forwhom we are collecting payments). is it possible in ECC6.0? Need help
