ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems can be classified based on their functionalities and vendor offerings. Here are some common types:
1. On-Premise ERP: These are traditional, locally installed software solutions.
2. Cloud ERP: These are software applications that run on the internet and are accessible from any device with an internet connection.
3. Open Source ERP: These are software systems whose source code is made available for anyone to modify or distribute. Examples include ERPNext, Odoo, and Apache OFBiz.
4. Hybrid ERP: These are a combination of on-premise and cloud solutions. SAP offers both on-premise and cloud ERP solutions.
5. Modular ERP: These allow businesses to choose only the functionalities they need.

I am pursuing SAP and I have only 3 months experience as an accountant. Please tell me what are the areas I need to prepare and is there any step by step procedure in learning both accounts and SAP, especially SAP.

P&L account type :- Hi, While creating GL accounts in FS00 am selecting P&L account radio button and immediately it asking me P&L account type (in drop down button it is showing A and S options). I want to disable it. Kindly let me know ASAP
