See there is a standard procedure to reduce the GAP.

SWEN Analysis
Standard: Which is done based on standard SAP
Work-Around: Where we need to work with different scenarios.
Enhancement: Enhancements or customization
Not Possible: Where we can say that it is not possible...

This is a stadard analysis...

But we cannot say Not possible in the SAP, because SAP will
definetely provide some or the other solution..

hi,
remember gaps are find out in blue print stage that mean,as
a member when you are involved in requirement gathering
period or identification of req. that time if your
collective doc. is full of concrete information may be gap
will be reduced.After that if gap is there then use
different kind of Enhancement.

one of interviewer asked me this requirement please tell me anybody? Issue: the problem faced by us right now is,when there are more than 2 route codes available, users can select a wrong route code which is a longer route for the destination, the physical shipment can still go through a shorter route, but company will end up in paying more. Requirement: user maintained route list, the user will maintain a master from which route should be picked, users should be able to enable or disable a particular route. Thanks in advance

Hi Friends, I have over 9 years of experience in IT industry. Worked as developer on IBM mainrames for most part of my career (6+ years) so far. Currently working in a global IT company. Couple of years back I got an opportunity in my current company to change my technology from IBM mainfarmes to SAP SD. I got trained internally and I have been put on a project of a global client for support for almost 2 years now. I learnt lot of things and got very good hands on experience. Now my questions is,How important/critical is the industry/domain experience(in my case, sales domian experience) if I want to pursue opportunities in other companies. I do not have any sales domain experience but I do have over 2 years of real time experience on SAP SD module. What will be the chances of getting jobs in the market for my kind of profiles? Can I have your comments/views.
