mr.answer no 5..
1- copy from a billing doc to sales doc is used when u
make return order with reference to invoice.
2- copy fom billing to biling i dont know xactly but i
think its needed if u create credit for returns wid
referance to billing.
if u r configuring the system (everything new) if u r
doing it wid standard order types then its not require to
maintain copying control many are in standards..
if u maintain it widout copying from other order type then
u have to maintain copying control.

Well, the answers above are great, but I still have one doubt.
Why would do the following copies? Can you give me a real
example?
1 - Copy from a billing doc to a sales doc?
2 - Copy from billing to billing?
Also, when I am configuring the system (everything new), do
I have to make a copy control for each doc and each part
(Header + Item + Schedule line) for my process?
So, for instance, if I have Sales doc + Delivery doc +
Billing doc I have to make:
1 - 3 copy controls from sales doc. to del. doc.? AND
2 - 2 copy controls from del. doc. to the billing doc.?
Thx
