Gap analysis only happens in Implementation projects.After understanding the business process from the business and if sap standard does not have solution, some new changes required, then only we will create a detail documents called Gap analysis.and this document can be called as software requirement specification.In this document everything should mentioned clearly like requirement,actual time and estimate and also business benefits, all will be document after through analysis.

Any client requirement for which there is no standard solution in SAP then it is called GAP
In GAP Analysis Document we prepare
1:Description of GAP
2:Alternate solution
3:Estimated Efforts:(a) Functional man-days (b) Technical Man-days
After preparing GAP Analysis documents we send it to CORE-USERS for Approval,after core user approval we start working on GAP.

Example:Client wants to offer multiple material as free goods.(This we call GAP)

Is it possible to block a material to be deliver from an specific plant without block the creation of sales orders? So in summary the material has to be blocked just for a specific plant in the moment of delivery. One sales order with different plants per line could be shipping except the lines that contain this plantX Thanks!.

Status Profile I have a doubt in Status Profile. I have set the status profile and I can see the same in order, however please confirm if the authorized person now needs to approve it, how he will do that. I am testing it in IDES, not sure about the last step For example if it is VA01- Will he go to VA01 to approve it or reject it. Please suggest as I am not sure about the last step.

hi, i have one problem wen i'm practising...we were creating sales order in std doc type OR. the material has mrp type std ND(noMRP) and item category TAN which was assigned to scheduleline category CN (NO CHECK). wat happened is the system automatically propse the material availability date as 31.12.2008, eventhough i havent configured availability check. so tht i cant make delivery for this order.... i ve tried many time with diff customer...but the same error was happened....can u pls tell me y it is happened?

I am creating a credit note with Invoice reference , The below error is coming . Message no. V1212 No pricing procedure could be determined while creating Credit note with Invoice reference System should copy the price from the Invoice why it is throwing an error .I have checked my copy controls .Everything is fine .Kindly help me out.
