VAT is determined based on the rule(Blank, A, B) assigned to
Sales Organization

1.Blank

a.if PY has VAT and a different SP then from PY

if a doesn't apply
b.if SH has VAT and SP has no VAT then from SH

if b doesn't apply
c. from SP

2. A From SP

3. B From PY

pls correct me if I am wrong

PY = Payer; SP = Sold-To; SH = Ship-To.

From Payer
If PY has a VRN maintained and the PY number does not equal
the SP number, SP & SH are no longer relevant.

From Sold-To
If SP has a VRN and SH has no VRN.

Hi Gurus, please tell why there is a need to assign SDF to our main pricing procuedure (where we maintain document pricing procedure as free)while doing returns? Because I have checked its item cateogary KLN and there its pricing its unchecked. So is there really a need to do so?
