You can use transaction RZ04 to define Operation mode with
background work process.

additional background work process by Tcode RZ04

we can than perform a manual operation mode switch using
tcode RZ03.Then there is no need to restart the systen.

If you want to run the Background job immediately keep it
as a priority (i.e) while we are defing a job it will ask
for the classes If you click on Class A that is critical
job for that it will automatically start the background job
immediately .................

if there is no Background work processes we can go for operation modes then we can increase btc processes in RZ04 and SM63 and RZ03. execute these t-codes then we can run BTC jobs
in Background mode..

In operation modes i have schedule some jobs in off peak but the jobs are not completed with in time of off peak what happen at this time whether they wait until jobs complet or change to peak mode ? off peak time interval is from 6.0 pm to 6.0 am and peak time interval is from 6.0 am to 6.0 pm
