number of rods = (length/spacing)+1 = (5/0.125)+1
= 41 numbers of 5m of 16mm are required
to find how many full rods i.e 12m are required
= (41no*5m)/12
= 205m/12m
= 17numbers of 12m

Number of bars = {(length in which the bar needed to be provided - 2(side cover))/ c to c spacing in b/w bars} + 1
No.of bars= {(5.0 - 2 X. 0.04)/0.125} + 1
No of bars= 40.36 or say 41 bars

it is simple 5000/125=40no+1(extra) of rods there is nothing to do with length of rod
