what are the sensor types of vibration&speed?n what is proximity sensor?..

Answer / manoj

Vibration sensor based on 1)fixed pt sendor 2)variable sensor
fixed sensor -by manual scale fixed near to machine
valiable sensor-1)seismic transdusar 2)clectromechanical
tranducer 3)capacitive rtnasdusor 4)proximity type
5)photodiode type
proximity type -it is eddy current type .when we are giving
supply -24 v.sensor develop Rf field.in machine eddy current
develop ,due to current loss of power in Rf field so we get
in o/t less voltage depend on gap voltage

what are the sensor types of vibration&speed?n what is proximity sensor?..

Answer / manoj

If you are asking about non contact type sensors, both vibration and speed are measured by proximity sensors only. In vibration, the displacement of the measured body from a set point is calculated.
speed is measured by the number of times the voltage drops while a notch(on the body of the rotor) crosses the sensor, which is done by Keyphasor(which is also a proximity sensor).

Axial ,Radial & Keyphaser
Proximior is a tranducer and a RF device that arrives from
probe. It convert the probe gap information in to a
proportioally linear output voltage.
