. item category determination and
. vbn1 records are important

you maintain higher level item cat as TAN and at item usage level if you leave it blank, it will be triggered automatically and if you maintain as FREE, it will trigger manually.
In vbn1, you have the options to control the free goods.

In case of third party sales what would trigger for the automatic creation of pr or po?
