I think waht chandan had answerd is partial right but the
right way to state is that .
Batch prosessing come in mm01 and vd51 where we sum up
the list of materilas for the cleint in the slaes order
and send them in single slaoes order and single shipping
condition and also raise a single invoice for all the
materials

batch process is used for the materials from different materials. and we have to check the field batch when we create the material. We have to create the number range for batch in sap sd.For tha we have to use the path spro-logistics general-batch management. and also we maintained the records by using t-code vch1. and then we enterd the material.
