Which type of language use in sap?..

SAP has its own Language and it runs on different platforms
(DB)too.

Till SAP 4.7 version it was running on ABAP language,which
is a own product of SAP but for this 4.7 version
installation SAP used Java too in front end. In later years
when they have introduced NetWeaver & ECC versions they have
added one more language that is JAVA. Now ECC version will
run on both ABAP & JAVA stack. Coming to Database it
supports all the major database platforms like Oracle,MS
SQL,DB2,MAX DB.

Sap supports Java with the latest ECC VERSION, SAP with
regards to the backend supports all kind of database
including 8i, 9i, 10g, 11g
Sap has its own database called Maxdb

HI,

When SAP is installed by default it will be installed in
English and German.In backend Oracle9i and Java J2e
languages are used in SAP.

I have a requirement from the SD people wherein whenver one runs the tcode F-02 (Enter G/L account Policy : Header Data), they should not get the list of all acounts in the ACCOUNT field. But when i go to pfcg to check for restricting the list, i dont find any pertinet auth field for doing so. Isi t something that we can ( as Basis Admin) do or the ABAPpers to do. Maybe the ABAPpers have to program the screen where in they need to restrict the list options. If not so, lemme know the auth field that has to bet set if any.
