1. Personnel Area defines the specific area of the enterprise according to a few concepts of personnel, time & payroll. Personnel subarea is a further division of personnel area. Usually in realtime, PA indicates the location of the org. unit and PSA indicates the departments. However, both PSA & PA may vary depending on the business process of the client.
2. Cost center is an identifier which assists the FICO users to collate & identify heads of expenses.
3. Employee group defines the position of an employee within the work force. Ex: Salaried, Hourly, Regular, Contract etc. Employee subgroup is a further subdivision of the EG. Ex: Part Time, Full Time etc
6. Infogroup is nothing but a grouping of infotypes which are to be included in a particular action. For example, in hiring action, you need IT0000, IT0001, IT0002, IT0006, IT0008 to be entered by the user - in that particular sequence. So, all these infotypes are grouped together and the infogroup is assigned to the Hiring action created

7. Simple Maintenance is ideal for creating new
organization plan quickly. It contains only object and
relationship infotype. It is less integrated with the
system. Mainly used by the workflow consultants. Detailed
maintenance is I think Organization and Staffing because it
is user friendly interface for end-user to maintain day
today changes in objects. But nothing is mentioned in the
course regarding detailed maintenance.
