I am Making a customer by customer master record by tCode
xd01 and after entering all the required fields like sales
area and Company code, i am getting an error Account Number
Incorrect. I am using an existing Account group made by me
as well as i tried a new account group but same problem is
occurring in both cases

I thing it comes error on number range. that you do not
put the customer no according to the number range . check
it again by putting the actual number range .

hence give the exact error message what the system shows???

It necessary to create Tax code for excise determination in TAXINN in SD Scenario. While maintaining condition record ( JEXP) for Excise access sequence JEXC doesn’t has Tax Code field Whereas for Sale Tax determination ( JCST/JLST) access sequence JLST /CST which has Tax code field . (In TAXINN we create Dummy tax code (blank)) is it true whatever I have written ? If yes then what is use of tax code where it triggers in FI Posting?
