Due to many requirements in business for pricing and
complexities of these requirements SAP has a number of
fields by which one may group both customers and materials.
These additional groups are the customer price list type,
customer pricing group and material pricing group.

You make these settings in the Implementation Guide (IMG)
for SAP CRM at Master Data ® Price Lists. Transaction Code
V-45 Net Price list V_NL

It is used to give group discounts for similar types of
products or group of customers. Its also used for
statistical purpose to analyse buseness/sales.

price list is maintained to group the customers and give the
discount to the group of customers.like dealer group
,retailer grioup .
we have customise price lice list in
entstructure--sd--basicgunctions--pricing----define price
group for customers ex:pr1
this price group you have to maintain in customer master
sales area data in sales screen there is a field price group
here u have to maintain that price group.
and go to vk11 pr00 select second option price list/currency/
and maintain the condition record

Are you working in onsite or offsite project? If it is offsite then how do you get requirement from your client? Where is your client located? How to answer these questions more confidently in any interview for that matter? I know this question is nontechnical in nature unrelated to SAP SD subject but this is a crucial question through it interviewer evaluates us? sd validation of advance payment. eg sales order(1234) raised on 14 jan 2012. validity of sales order is 30 jan 2012 advance paym should receive before 25 jan 2012 any payment against this order should not be received after 26 jan 2012
