No Transport route is uni-directional. The reason for
transport is to implement adjustment and
modifications(Cross-Client and Repository objects). That
should only go from Dev to Prod system.
If you are thinking about copying Prod to Dev, you could use
client copy, however, it is only for Client specified objects.
It is depend on what you want, you may need to create
another system in between, that is the QA system. That is
why SAP recommended 3 system landscape. I learned all these
from my BASIS/NetWeaver training.
Good Luck

Transport routes are configured to automate population to
transport queues in the path. When you configure transport
routes, it will create a map for populating the queues
automatically, and create mapping to OS level directories
such as /trans/buffer,.trans/bin etc. However, in practice
transport routes are omni directional. There is no control
which prevents you to add the transport to any queue of any
system with in the transport domain. Only real control is
the security authorization to transaction STMS and the
field values there in the target system, you are planning
to import the transport.

dear hameed ,
let me explain what exactly is my doubt.
I think we can do client copy from prd to qas using client
export-import.I dont want to use remote method.
the procedure is to export the prd client through scc8 and
import these requests into qas client through stms.
now isn't it transporting request in th opposite way?

Dear VinVk,
To do a client copy from PROD to DEV then we need to
