Type of Formwork minimum period

a) Vertical formwork to columns, walls, beam 16-24 h

b) Soffitformwork to slabs (Props to berefixed immediately afterremoval of formwork) 3 days

c) Soffitformwork to beams (Propsto be refixed immediately afterremoval of formwork) 7 days

d) Propsto slabs: 1) Spanning up to 4.5 m 7 days
2) Spanning over4.Sm 14days

e) Props to beams and arches: 1) Spanning up to 6 m 14 days
2) Spanning over6 m 21 days

basically deshuttering of slab is in depend up on the mix
propotion of the concrete.and achived strength more than
75%.
like m15 is needed for deshuttering period is 21 days
we are using m20,for slabs need 14 days is enough.
in beams we are using m20 and above 10 ~14 days are
applicable in practcial.

for using post tension in the slab we are using m35
concrete in slabs it is deshutttered 7 ~ 8 days.(when the
portion is after stressed)
to calculate the concrete strength in lab take 3 cube of
concrete and tested in lab 3 cube average strength is
needed 75%.

yas, santhosh kumar statment is right, but that depend up
on span of slab also, bcos. the dead load of slab is bigest
fector efecting on deshuttering.
than second, almost people remove shuttering below the slab
and beam bottom are stay long time, unother give a support
on bottom and remove shutter, that's all right.

one more sugetion is if that wall shuttering so, u must be
remove after 24 to 36 hours.

What santosh kumar given answer is correct.but sometimes it is observed that for M20 grade slab deshuttering is done in 7-8 days.it depends on the material used also.
