Hi All this is Shishodia & i am a new user of this site .
Well, following formula can be used to determine the amps
from KVA.
I= P(W)/(1.732 X VOLT X Power Factor)
I=KVA X 800/(1.732 X 440 X.8) Note 1 KVA = 800 Watt
So,
I= KVA X 800/(1.732 X 440 X 0.8)
100 % - 1574.63 Amps
80 % - 1259.71 Amps
So always put in Amps 80% mean 1259Amps for 1200 KVA
