Emotional answer by all of them above... Practically
although Siemens , Genovate etc. provide training and 3
chances for certification etc. etc.in app. 3.5 lakhs but
what is most impt. that how hard you want to work on this
module. People from seimens finish up with the course in 25
days with nowhere as the continous classes actually leaves
them with notes and cd's and no practice. They would
actually not entertain you for queries once the course is
finished. Most impt. is the good institute, hard work, lots
of labour for this field and good logic.

If you want to make a career in SAP ,it is always better to
go for certification from authorised training
institutes.Today sap market is flooded by non-certified
self made/called Consultant. If you ask them they will
justify their stand by saying something.Like may prove you
that a quack is better than a doctor.If you buy that than
it is your choice.Actually what logic these guy put " what
you will learn in 25 days at Siemens.It is not just 25 days
only it is rather 25*15 hours = 375 hours minimumlabour
otherwise you will not clear certification. Where as in the
Sadak chhap institutes they usually allow you weekly 2 days
for 2 hours each day.If you calculate 8 classes a monthe
and if it is 3 months as they say than it is 24 classes.But
remember it does not happen always .many a time they will
say that faculty is not available. Let it be 24 days full
than you are practicing 48 hours in 24 classes. It is
roughly 1/10 of the time what you spend at Siemens.Remember
the material at Siemens is prepared by SAP AG. So sap knows
better than G.C.Williams about its own software.The non-
certified candidates do not know more than 20% of the
basics what an Siemens certified knows.Moreover they learn
48 hours and become a consultant with an experience of 2-3
years. But if you are certified at Siemens you are a
fresher in that field.If you want to be a three senior
consultant by learning 48 hours than that is your choice.
As far as practice is concerned certified candidates do
more practice than non-certified guys.It is awrong notion
they have got. Afterall infront of a Doctor , a Quack can
not stand. Similarly noncertified guys suffer from severe
inferiority complex.

I second on what is been suggested by these guys. It is
always suggested to go for the training under the
authorized co. loke seimens or genvate rather than these
local institutes. Ultimately, what will happen is, for
saving 1.5 lakhs your 40K will go waste.

Hi all
I hope Aakash is very right. It is my own experience also
as I had joined with one of the leading unauthorised
institute which I do not want to name.Faculty never come
regularly and whenever he comes ,it is only one hour of
teaching. So weekly it is only 3-4 hours.They teach
nothing.Suppose how to create a sales order, your two days
may be gone in that.only few topics like org.
structure,Part.determination,pricing,account determination
and few other topics are taught but not in details remember.
Quality of teaching is a big difference. Remember a faculty
at Siemens on avarage gets around Rs.10,000-Rs.15,000/= for
each day(class),where as the faculty outside charge only
Rs.500/= to Rs.750per class.

book 'SAP SD FUNDAMENTALS' by K.A. SAMAD. visit kasamad.com
for more details and to get it on line. It is is an
excellent book for begiinners.

For practicing SAP you need to have SAP SOFTWARE
installed in your machine. Having SAP software in your
machine will help you to practice it directly with out
depending on any third party help.
I can help you to have SAP Server in your PC.You
Can learn at your own pace and get certified Consultant.
(You can have your own server; so no need to wait for
internet connection or any other hurdles for practicing it.).
Any newbie can have SAP in their machine with
out any headache and have a backup copy also. This will help
them to rectify SAP SERVER in the case of emergency; with
out knowing much technically. If you are interested let me
know I can give you the solution which will explain you how
it’s possible.

Mr.Akash has suggested you right thing.You are young. Why
you want to start your career witha fake.A quack is nota
doctor.Would you like to consult him instead of a
doctor.Ofcourse, more than 85% in SAP field are with fake,I
hope.I do not understand why the poor HR guy who talks big
big things, recruits them.Possibly they are also not loyal
to the organisation, may be getting some thing in return
from those fake, fraud candidates.This is main contribution
of Hyderabad. You can find even candidates giving fake
BE/B.Tech/MBA certificates from Hyderabad.It companies also
recruit them as they also do not have any ethics.Afterall
the base of our country is corruption.You can also join in

I do not know about SAP SD. But for SAP MM in bangalore
there is only one place, ie Winpro Technologies. They are
in Rajajinagar. There is a faculty by name Praveen
Kulkarni, who teaches so well, you can easily get the job.
He takes about 3 months to complete the course but it is
worth it. So far as far as i know, all his students have
got placed. Winpro Technologies, do not take fees in the
beginning. You can attend many classes and later you can
decide if you wish to join. More detials can be had from

I configure pricing procedure and it works in the regular sales order are 1100/20/20 correctly and shows the correct calculation but in the third party sales order, I use the same pricing procedure in the sales area 1100/50/20 and the system shows the net value but it does not calculate total price and total price is zero. So I want to know that sales area and item category has relation with pricing procedure or not? What should we check?

I'm from the hotwel industry and has worked with le- meridien hotels. Can somebody tell, what will be the AS-IS in the hotel industry. Normally le-meridien has lot of properties all across the globe..ie manu no's of hotels...suppose we consider that there are 30 hotels in India...with headquarter in Mumbai( Sales Organisation)...and has a distribution chnl- direct sales and Division- Food n Bev, rooms and Services. Company- leMeridien, Com Code-Lemeridien Hotes. Customers comes in the hotel and stay in the hotel to have food, drink and avail services.It's doesn't have plant. Have various vendor to get the food material from in order to provide the food and services.Then what will be the AS-IS in this scenario?.Can somebody help me with this answer?
