In the tr.code:OB53,we have to Specifed in the Define
retained earings account some varaiable under that
P& L statement account type->X(variant)
Account->100100(Reserves & Surplus account)
in the year end closing balance transferd to this account.
If we specify onother varaint suppose Y
Account -> 1000000,and save
if specify 2 variants in OB53
while creating the GL accounts in FS00 it will ask
in selecting P&l Account radion button x or y ,
amount in which account you want to transfer, u have to
select x or y, i want to deactivate this one remove the
variant in Tr.code:OB53.

you can not disable it as it is required to transfer profit
or loss of your p & l account in balance sheet. so it is
mendatory to select it. as we know for p & l account, we
have to transfer balancing amount (whether profit or loss)
to balance sheet!
