The approach for writing an ABAP BDC program involves the following steps: (1) Define the business add-in (BAdI), which is a programming interface used to extend standard SAP transactions, (2) Implement the BAdI in your custom code, (3) Create a data request using function modules or ABAP C++ classes, (4) Save the data request to a table (BDCT_TAB) or file, and (5) Schedule and execute the data request via ABAP BDC jobs.

If I want to execute a bdc program only in background not in foreground is there any option for this? : abap bdc
