CATCH command in ABAP is used to handle runtime errors that occur during the execution of a program. When an error occurs, control passes to the nearest active module or subroutine containing a CATCH block. The CATCH block should contain EXCEPTION statements specifying the types of exceptions to be handled.

A Program calls a Function module. what happens to the ABAP memory allocation used by the functional module when the functional module is completed?
