HI Friends, I am going to provide addtional information for Hari's Answer.
To create or change Customer master record we are using 3 different Tcodes
1) VD01 & VD02
2) FD01 & FD02
3) XD01 & XD02
In customer master record we maintain 3 types of data or maintain data in areas-
1) General Data- Data related to customer address and communication.
2) Company Code Data- Data related to Accounts
3) Sales Area Data- Data related to Sales & Distribution.
If you use VD01/02 you can only view Gen Data of CMR & Sales Area data of CMR, but you cannot create or update or view company code data.
Similarly if you use FD01/02 you can crate update and view only Gen data & Co code data but you cannot view create or change sales area data.
But if you are using XD01/02 you can view update and create all 3 data.
You know this tcode used by end user and if end user is related to sales then he/she only having access to VD01 he/she can do necessary changes or creation but they dont have authorization to acess co code data, bcoz his/her work is only restricted to sales but not accounting.
Similarly end user who are working in accounts have acess to FD01/02 but they dont have access to sales, as they are restrcited to work in accounts only.
XD01 used by managment people who are also calling as super user they have more access then the end user, they have access to XD01 thereby they can create change or view central data mainatained for customer master record.
Tcode access is giving by BASIS people on this basis of approval from managment. Based on work and requirement they will tcode access to end user as well SAP Consultants.
VD01/02 for Sales Team, FD01/02 for Accounts Team, and XD01/02 for super user or management.

And centrally is xd01.

hi every one, When i am doing PGI in consigment fillup,an error is showing,that is "Deficit of SL Unrestricted use 100ea:730 (mat number)ZPB1(Plant)LS1(storage location). I had mainten special stock in mb1c ie. movement type 561w. and in metarial my basic unit is ea and saleing unit is box and 1 ea.= 1 box. Hope that i can clarify my problem properly. kindly help me out...
