This is found in telecom area.most of the phone wires are
copper.its almost exposed to atmosphere,sand and corrode
producing copper oxide this is why copper act as positively
charged ion to act with negatively charged oxygen.so a wire
with a positively charged accelerates corrosion.to slow down
the positive is grounded to give a negative charge.
