in Ecc6, Please set the profile parameter:login/no_automatic_user_sapstar=0,then restart the sap system and logon with password 'pass'.

If you are not able to login into newly created client ,
then activate sap* user.

for that set parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar=1.

delete from sapsr3.usr02 where mandt=000 and BNAME='sap*';
then restart the system and login using user sap* and
Password will be PASS.

sapsr3.usr02 where mandt=000 and BNAME='sap*';
to reset the password of SAP* as PASS

hey all, I am trying to install SAP 4.6C on a Windows 2003 server Enterprise edition. well at the time of the installation of Oracle 9.0, am I also suppose to create a database. well, If I do, then it gives me an error at the time of the installation of Database Instance at a stage where the SAP database creation takes place, If I don't then SAP database creation succeeds, all the tablespaces are created successfully, however the post oracle configuration stage gives an error, stating that an SQL statement exec failed... what should I do, Please Help....
