PLC is programmable logic control in this field instrument are connected to input or output of PLC input & output. And PLC are connected to DCS system or SCADA or HMI by a RS232 or RS434 communication cable.

first of all I want to tell you connection from field to DCS:
Example: C.V. to Tx. to controller via Ethernet cable to DCS.
