As per Joglaker (Quantity Surveyor Book) it is mentioned as
for every quintal of steel reinforcement ( 1 quintal =
100kg) 0.9 to 1.3kg of binding wire is required
for 100kg of steel reinforcement = 0.9 to 1.3kg of binding
wire
for 1 tonne (1000kg) = 9 to 13kg binding wire will be
required
