Answer / pradhiksha.g.babu

Sensor is an element which Recieves a signal that is to be
measured.Where as a transducer is a device or a sensor
which converts a physical data to an electrial data.

what is the difference between sensor and tranducers?..

Answer / jobby c johnson

a sensor is one which measures a pysical variable. a
transducer is one which transforms the physical variable
into some other form which can be easily processed by the
remaining measurement system. if it is conerting the signal
into electrical form it is called elecrical transducers

what is the difference between sensor and tranducers?..

Answer / manish jadav

sensor can only sense the element but transuder can
convert one physical energy to another form.
so sensor is not trnsuder but transuder is sensor.

what is the difference between sensor and tranducers?..

Answer / mohamed yousuf

sensor is a device which can only sense the physical
quantity like temperature, pressure etc.
FOR PRESSURE BELLOWS IS A SENSOR

transducer is a device which sense the physical quantity
and convert that physical quantity into electrical quantity
eg.THERMOCOUPLE

what is the difference between sensor and tranducers?..

Answer / kumar

the name it self says sensor is device to sence the signal from object and tranduser is a device to transfer one form of energy to another form of energy as per process use

what is the difference between sensor and tranducers?..

Answer / arunkumar

sensor is a device.which converts any physical quantity
into electrical quantity.but the tranducer converts one
form of energy into another form of energy,it may either
electrical or any other physical quantity.

Is This Answer Correct ?    6 Yes 7 No

what is the difference between sensor and tranducers?..

Answer / harish

sensor is only used to measure the physical quantity such
as (temp, flow, level, pressure) but transduser is a device
used to measure the physical quantity and convert the
electrical engergy

Is This Answer Correct ?    0 Yes 1 No

Calculate the maximum pressure drop that can be allowed to occur across a control valve, so that we can prevent cavitation / flashing from occurring. Use the following formula: Δ P allow = Km (P1 – PvapourA) where, Δ P allow - the maximum allowable differential pressure for sizing purposes, or terminal pressure drop; Km- the valve recovery coefficient from the manufacturer’s catalogue; P1 - absolute inlet fluid pressure; PvapourA - absolute fluid vapour pressure at the inlet temperature; Use Atmospheric pressure = 101.3 kPa, P1 = 1200 kPa(g), PvapourA = 4 kPa, KM = 0.72
