CATS(Cross Application Time sheets) is one of the methods
of recording time data.There are many versions to this CATS
namely CATS regular,CATS classic and CATS notebook.

Advantages:
1)It is convenient.
2)It has inbuilt approval.
3)User friendly
4)Default values.

Process involved are :
1)Creating an account
2)Recording or entering time data
3)Releasing it for approval or rejection
4)Follow up

I am not sure about the configuration part.

CATS: cross application time sheets.

it is used to fill up time sheets and as well as to book
the leave and all......

we can configure it by going to the T.CODE's.....

1) TCATS, 2) CAT2, 3) CAT4, 4)CAT6.

1. Hire a pernr with basic infotypes
2. Create a Data Entry Profile using T.Code CAC1
3. Assign the Data entry profile name to your user parameter.
4. Create Feild selection using CAC2.
5. Save the data

Now your ready to use CATS application

CATS Prerequsits
1 Create 2 posistions (MGR & EXE) in org structure
2 Create a cost center & assign a relation ship with subordiante postion
3 Hire Two Emps (MGR & EXE) in Org Structure
4 Create a User ID's and maintain in two employees 105 infotype and subtype 0001

Executive = 204, J2EE_ADMIN
MGR = 205 SAPUSER
5 Need to run time evaluation to the employees

Dear Friends, Hope you are doing good. I have following doubt.Kindly have a look at the query and help me in solving this issue. I have generated absence quota using RPTQTA00 using ‘Batch Input’ Option in SE38 Screen( for Casual Leave-8 days,Sick Leave-20 hours and Privilege Leave-3 days).Now I want to update generated absence quota in Infotype 2006 using SM 35.After entering SM35 transaction code in command bar,It is showing as follows.If I want to update this infotype 2006,I have to select Session Name,but generated sessions are not appearing.Please reply at the earliest possible.
