The most Important thing that Pia forget that to explode BOM
we also has to maintain BOM master..for this go to CS01 and
enter BOM usages 5 with other details...in detail screen ur
item category should be L. after saving CS01 u will be able
to explode BOM in sales order

Hi,

Industry and service group is not important here.

1. while u r creating the material using mm01, I hope you
have chosen the material type as "FERT" of all the
materials.

2. the most important data here is the Item Category Group.
For the main Item, the Item Category group will be "ERLA"
For the sub-items, the item category group will be "NORM"

Go to vk11 and put pr00 value for the main item as well as
the subitem.

go to va01, enter the main item with quantity. If
everything else is alright, the BOM should explode.

For the main Item, the Item Category group will be "LUMF"
For the sub-items, the item category group will be "NORM"

Go to vk11 and put pr00 value for the main item as well as

THE MAIN DIFFERRENCE BETWEEN 2 AND 2A, IS THE DIFFERENCE IN
THE ITEM CATEGORY GROUP OF THE MAIN ITEM.

If the item category group of the main item is ERLA, in the
sales order, the price of the main item will be DOMINANT.

Otherwise, with the item category of the main item being
LUMF, the price of the sub-items will be dominant.

So is is erla and TAP

One thing you need to check is that In maim item you need
to give erla but the iten category will not be norm it is
taq and for Lumf it is tap . Please check
