0unit is the infoobject which is provided by SAP to caluclate measures for key fig data types quantity .
It is a refernce IO, This InfoObject is a unit key figure.
For quantity key figures and amount key figures there are 0UNIT and 0Currency IOs respectively.

AS above said was correct need to add more is that for
example a qunatity a filed had fixed unit as KG , there is
aclient requirement where he want to see kg to gram we
have option where we can convert through RSUOM
