Rtcc means remote tap change controllers which are used for tap changing of ht side of the transformers which are having on load tap changing system, so that output voltage can be raised or lowered.

RTCC means relay tap changer circuit,these are the relay
which give command to the tap changer present in the
transformer H.T side to either increse or decrese the tap
since due to inductive load ( lagging p.f ) , the secondary
terminal voltage would decrease which would not be good for
the loads so by chnging taps, we increase the primary
voltage which in turn changes the secondary
voltage,normally done

As load increases or decreases according to that Tap of OLTC shoul be change for maintaining the voltage level of feeder,so RTCC(remote tap changer cabinet) will remotely operate OLTC.
