Answer / jayaprakash.s
In motorised meggers, firstly we are generating an ac
voltage of low magnitude by a generator action.then its
volt. is raised by a tran'mer, rectified to dc by a
rectifier ckt. and its magnitude is raised by a voltage
doubler ckt. and is raised about 1000v or much higher.but
it has less current rating.
